Hebron University has received a Grant from the Quality Improvement Fund (QIF) – Ministry of Education and Higher Education and funded by the World Bank for the project entitled: "Improving the Quality of Education Programs for Higher Basic Stage – Social Sciences Major. The Grant aims at Reinforcing of the academic plans of teacher preparation in social sciences programs in the faculties of education for in Hebron University, An-Najah University, Bethlehem University, and Al Quds University.

About Centre for Development and Applied research in Education
The Centre for Developmental and Applied Research in Education (CeDARE)Link to Cedare at the University of Wolverhampton is pleased to be working in partnership with the University of Hebron. CeDARE specialises in curriculum innovation, continuing professional development design and delivery, research evaluations, particularly in the area of ICT, CPD and impacts on learning and teaching. As part of the School of Education Link to SED we have access to senior practitioners in initial teacher training at primary, secondary (Higher Basic) and tertiary level (capacity building programme). We run both pre service and in service initial teacher training (ITT) courses and work closely with the National Training and Development Agency for Schools and the National College for School Leadership. Ofsted classes the School of Education as outstanding in both Secondary and Primary teacher training. For this project we will combine our expertise with two other centres within the University. The Centre for International Development and Training (CIDT) Link to CIDTwho have over 28 years experience of working in capacity building operations within education in a variety of countries and contexts and The Learning LabLink to the Learning Lab who are at the forefront of the use of mobile technology for learning within distributed environments.
